Olio Officina Festival 2018: l’appuntamento con la nuova edizione del grande festival dedicato all’extravergine di oliva e ai condimenti è a Milano dall’1 al 3 febbraio.
Di Olio Officina Festival – uno dei più importanti happening italiani dedicati all’olio di oliva – abbiamo già parlato qui su Universofood, in occasione dell’edizione 2016 e poi dell’edizione 2017. La rassegna è stata ideata ed è diretta dall’oleologo e giornalista Luigi Caricato, conosciuto dagli operatori di settore anche come direttore della rivista online Olio Officina Magazine e autore dell’Atlante degli oli italiani. L’appuntamento con Olio Officina Festival 2018 è al Palazzo delle Stelline di Milano nei giorni di giovedì 1, venerdì 2 e sabato 3 febbraio. Olio Officina Festival è una manifestazione importante per gli addetti ai lavori e per tutti coloro che operano nella filiera dell’olio, con buyer, imprenditori oleari e operatori in arrivo da tutta Italia e dall’estero, ma l’ingresso è aperto anche ai semplici curiosi e appassionati, con un’area shop che offre in degustazione e vendita i migliori oli extravergine italiani e i migliori prodotti e condimenti a base di olio, e con un ricco programma di degustazioni guidate, focus, approfondimenti, conferenze, laboratori sull’abbinamento olio-cibi e sulla realizzazione di blend a partire da diverse tipologie di oli messi a disposizione del pubblico. Tema dell’edizione 2018 è “Io sono un albero“, e una particolare attenzione sarà dedicata al mondo degli ulivi, ma a Olio Officina Festival l’approfondimento sulla filiera dell’olio è a 360 gradi. Giovedì 1 febbraio la manifestazione si apre alle ore 17. Venerdì 2 febbraio, dalle 9 alle 21, si susseguono conferenze e lezioni, con focus approfonditi sul tema del packaging e abbigliaggio degli oli, e sul problema (con pro e contro) della presenza degli oli extravergine di oliva di qualità nella Gdo e sugli scaffali dei supermercati. Sabato 3 febbraio l’attenzione si sposta sull’analisi sensoriale applicata agli oli e sull’evoluzione futura del frantoio, e sono previsti uno spazio speciale dedicato agli oli di alta quota (le produzione provenienti da oliveti collinari e montani) e l’assegnazione dei premi Olio Officina Cultura dell’Olio.
